NTC launches its e-Shiksha Package to facilitate schools and colleges to conduct e-class smoothly.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 schools and colleges are closed and there is still no sign of ending lockdown. Schools and colleges have started teaching through an online platform which sounds good but due to lack of proper resources available to all the student, it is not easy to adapt online class quickly by everyone. Despite many disruptions, efforts are being made in order to maintain track.
Nepal Telecom has recently introduced a package “e-Shiksha Package” to connect teacher and students by conducting online classes. The pack is especially is for e-learning that works in all networks 2G/3G/4G. Teacher and students having NTC number are eligible to purchase this pack.
What NTC offer in this pack?
Package contains 6GB Data, at the price of Rs.260 with the restriction in the time slot 3GB out of 6GB data are available all the times while the remaining is limit for 5 hours in the morning (5 am- 10 am).
15GB data is available at Rs.500 where 9 GB can be used all the time whereas 6GB is available for 5 hours (5 am- 10 am).
How you can Subscribe for e-Shiksha Package?
Not everyone can purchase this package in order to purchase, an official letter from the school or college needs to be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. The letter should contain the name and mobile number of students and faculties. Then NTC analyses and send SMS to those people who are eligible to subscribe to this data package. To subscribe e-Shiksha Package you should dial *1441# and select package to purchase.
